Tracking Obligations
The Obligations dashboard at Locker → Obligations gives your team a single view of every open deadline across your entire document library, so you can see what's overdue, what's coming up, and who owns what.

The Dashboard
Each obligation shows its title, the linked document, the assigned owner, the due date, and its current status. The dashboard groups obligations into four buckets, Overdue, Due Soon, Upcoming, and Completed, so the most urgent items are always at the top.
Use the filter bar to narrow your view by Status, Owner, or Due Date range.

Use Group by Document Type to see all obligations organized by contract category, helpful for spotting upcoming renewals across a specific type at a glance.

Obligation Statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | The obligation has not yet been started |
| In Progress | Work on the obligation has begun but is not yet complete |
| Overdue | The obligation's due date has passed without completion |
| Completed | The obligation has been fulfilled and closed |
| Cancelled | The obligation was voided before completion |
"Due Soon" is a UI grouping that highlights obligations with upcoming due dates — not a formal status value. Obligations approaching their deadline remain in Pending or In Progress status until completed or overdue.
Obligations move from Pending or In Progress to Overdue automatically when their due date passes. No manual update is needed.
